House of the Dead: Overkill for Wii Reviews by Gamers

First thing for this game is definately do NOT! (and i can't stress this enough!) allow anybody to play this game that you don't want to traumatize. Gameplay is smooth and reliable, controls are simple but not stupid, the graphics are good, the creatures somewhat unpredictable and the action is fast paced. I rate this as one of my favorite shooters. The bad news is that this game has almost as many f-bombs as bad guys and an ending that is probably the most disgusting that I have ever encountered. If you are a parent and you child has rented this game, you should learn to play just to play it. Then you can see what is possible. Because if you let them play it unsupervised, you have nobody to blame but yourself when they are going to therapy in the future. Without spoiling the ending, I can't tell you how bad it is but trust me it is very bad. I would recommend this game to anybody that I know can handle the ending and suggest locking it up with the rest of your adult material when you leave the kiddies home alone. They did a very good job of skirting the edge of what would be an x-rated game. THIS GAME IS AWSOME BUT NOT FOR ANYONE UNDER 18!! Good luck and look for the brains!

This game is awesome!! (Don't play it with your wife and kids in the house, though). It's like watching a Tarantino/Rob Zombie movie. The gameplay is fun and the storyline is almost good enough to just sit down and watch like a movie. If you have a sick sense of humor like me, this game is hilarious. I would at least rent it, but this game I just had to buy because I think it's a collector's item. Enjoy!
