There isn't much to actually do in this game and what little there is, is repetitive. The main action of the game is readying your store for business, talking to cutomers to get a clue on what to stock, and then trying to find special items for sale from traveling or local merchants. You can also walk around and pick things like herbs and fruit/veggies off the ground. Even when you get a request for something special, or asked to deliver something, it only requires you to enter a specific area and then you get a cutscene and end up either where you were when the scene started or in your shop with the task completed. The villager's stories are interesting but the gameplay feels very limitted. Even so, it's not the worst game I've ever played, it doesn't even make my top 10 list of worst games.
For a game from the creator of Harvest Moon, it's not that good. I was hoping for a Harvest Moon version of Animal Crossing or whatever, however what i got wasn't even Harvest Moon. I did not expect farming in this game as it was to focus more on virtual life, but it wasn't what i wanted in that either. Every day is the same old thing, you meet some character who offers you little to help, you run a shop and continually stock and re-stock, and it costs more to get merchandise than it is to sell it, and even when you leave your shop people are still coming by to purchase goods, and get mad when they don't have someone to ring them up. It's just monotonous and repetitive and hard to keep up with. I do not recommend it very highly.
