And they made a big deal about the 3rd MW2 mission

Homefront, for me, had a very disturbing story. Moments into the game you see a mother and father get executed as there 3 year old son watches. After their blood splatters the wall and the soldiers walk away, you can hear him screaming as he goes to kneel at his parents corpses. A little later, you run into a woman with an infant; and you hear her baby crying through a firefight with KPA soldiers. These sort of over the top moments fill the single player experience. The multiplayer is solid. I just wish there where more maps. Their are two game modes, but if your a fan of bad company this won't bother you. As of now there are only five maps in the game. The biggest problem with multiplayer right now is finding a match. It seems that there aren't enough servers to handle it right now. The gameplay feels fresh and it's a welcome change from black ops for me. I would recommend this game if you are looking for a different online experience. Although, it will only keep you busy for a month or so.
the game is both great and alright. the multiplayer aspect of the game is the great part from the size of the maps and to the hit detection are some of the best out there. the way the perks are set up and the way you can use your battle points just felt so balanced and well thought out, although there was no destructible environments and a lack of weapons to use, it made it up with an overall great multiplayer experience. The single player on the other hand just was alright like something was lacking i tend to blame it on other FPS that spoiled me with great single player experiences that it just seemed like it wasnt as polished enough maybe it was just to short, i still cant put my finger on it. The characters were really good though, you get a good sense on who they are and why there fighting so that adds a little more to the single player campaign. So overall this was a good game but the multi player portion is really the crowning jewel in my opinion.
This game isn't bad but it isn't great either, in single and multiplayer there are just far too many glitches, not only that the spawns are sometimes very bad online. I'm often spawned in front or next to enemies. The graphics are decent but far from great. As for the offline unless your an achievement junkie there's little to none replay value and the storyline only last a couple hours about a third as long as whatever the shortest call of duty game is. Also quite often while playing online I found myself on a team full of run n gunners and were against a team full of snipers. I wanted to like this game more but I'm returning it today, it's worth a rent but not a buy not even for online.
