I had played all the Hitman games as they came out. They were always amazing, but a bit daunting. I have never been a hardcore gamer, and those games were tough. What I loved about Absolution, was that it kept the amazing gameplay, the many options in assisnations, but focused the levels more. Some people may not like this, and at first neither did I, but later in the game I realized how much more fun I was having with a tighter story and levels. The set pieces for the levels were amazing, with some really cool levels. Such as tracking your target in the fog, or battling an assassination squad through a cornfield.
I missed the music from the previous Hitman games, the haunting orchestral music, is just not there, and what is just does not fit the game as well. This game is about patience more then it is about reflexes, which was perfect for me. So many times I feel lost in a shooter anytime I turn the difficulty up or get on x box live.
