MENUS
Control Pad Select menu item, Up/Down = Scroll up/down list
A Button Accept menu selection
B Button Cancel selection / Return to previous menu
Start/Pause Open pause, Map and Briefing menus

ACTION
Control Stick Push stick lightly to walk / Push firmly to run
Control Pad Left/Right = Lean left/right, (double tap and hold) = Step out left/right
A Button Open door / Pick up item / Drag
B Button Exit Keyhole mode
X Button Drop item
L Button Press and release to Sneak / Hold to Crouch
R Button Use item

WEAPONS
B Button Holster weapon / Exit Snipe mode
Y Button Reload
R Button Fire / Enter Snipe mode
C Stick Move crosshair to aim

INVENTORY
Control Pad Select Inventory item
A Button Equip item
B Button Quick Inventory
X Button Drop selected item
Z Button Open / Close Inventory

CAMERA
Control Pad Up/Down = Zoom in/out, (double tap) Up = Toggle 1st person view, (tap) Down = Toggle 3rd person view (while in 3rd person view, zooming in/out affects the distance between Hitman and the camera. When you're using a rifle with a scope attached, zooming in/out affects the scope's magnification levels.
C Stick Move camera (look around)
