I rented civil war 1 first, and it pretty well sucked. This game however is a vast improvement. Graphics are much better, as are lots of things like enemy animations, sounds, regenerating health recovery. Even the reloading times are sped up. The game has no multiplayer, but it also doesnt have any MP achievements, which is great. It also is very similar to the call of duty games, even the controls.
In the end, a fun game. Not quite on par with halo 3, but not real far off IMO. Very easy achievements as well.

I didn't expect much when it came to a Civil War game, especially not one put out by the History Channel, but I was pleasantly surprised. The graphics are pretty good, as you can see from the pictures, the detail to the weapons is one of my favorite parts about it. I actually even learned a few things about the civil war that I never knew, but still this game did disappoint in two ways. One was amount of weaponry. There were only around 10 weapons available, 12 if you count the grenades, and while some did differ, I couldn't tell too much difference in usefulness between one rifle and the next. The other was the brevity of the game. It was only 10 levels long. Still worth renting though.
