History Channel: Civil War - A Nation Divided for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

I think this game is unique in the idea, to see the different kind of guns and whatnot that they used back then, but it's very boring. The graphics are pretty cruddy, scripted deaths, repeated voice sayings, only 1 kind of battle mode, and not too much action. Basically this game is one of those sloppily put together FPS games, I would say you should rent if you want to learn a little about the history of the Civil War (you'd probably just be better off watching the History channel, probably more entertaining as well), but if not then you shouldn't really rent it, your not missing much.

first of all...its obvious most of yall dont know about the civil war.
Of course its gonna take a while to load your gun its a musket... get over it, the soldiers did. its the civil war for cryin out loud they didnt have all of the "fancy" stuff they did in WWW 1 and 2... take the time to think before renting, im a civil war freak (redneck) and i found this game EXTREMELY accurate... ill admit the graphics could be a tiny bit better but its not worth gettin ur panties in a wad. its definitely a great game to brush up on ur facts.
and i dont really like war games i only like football and huntin games cause thats what i really do. but all in all its a really great fun and ed. game
