Game Description

The fate of one nation unfolds through the eyes of one soldier in this first-person Civil War shooter. You're plunged into the chaos of smoke-filled 19th-century battlefields as you fight the war through the eyes of a Union or Confederate soldier. Wield authentic Civil War-era weaponry in 12 of the conflict's most significant battles, including Bull Run, Antietum, and Gettysburg. Use a variety of tactics, from gutting enemies with bayonets to sabotaging telegraph lines to achieve mission objectives. Keep your wits about you as bullets whistle by, artillery explodes, and comrades fall. Each level begins with a documentary video that takes you deeper inside the battle you're about to experience.

I was very excited to play this title. I have loved the newer war games that have come out for PS2 such as the medal of honor series and the call of duty series. I hoped that this would be similar gameplay but taking place during the civil war. This was not the case. The graphics were decent at ...more
