This game is perfect for those of them who got a kick out of things like pokemon, chess, hide and go seek and final fantasy. It really does encompass all of the ideas of them. The combat is like a mix between chess and pokemon, you move the monsters (of different power and speed) like chess peices to have them attack and attack until they're all kaput, and that was nice. The final fantasy aspect of it comes in with the overall movement and the use of spells in combat AND travel. Gotta love it. The only thing to really dislike at all is the shortness of the game, it is VERY fast paced, one could easily beat it in the span of eight hours.
