How can you guys give this game such a low rating! It's like, the best game ever! Sure the Controls are a little touchy, but that makes it all the more fun. And what is up with "PS1 graphics" i say it has got the graphics of a pretty good CGI movie... hmph. That is all I have to say.
By the way, you should really get this game, it is soooooo fun.

Ok this game freakin rocked for me. It took a little while to get used to the controls (using the wii-mote and not the analog to navigate). The Impact camera is similar to the "Burnout" series, which makes shootin down planes a blast. (no pun intended).
The first mission are mostly tutorial so yeah they will kinda drag on, But later on the pace just kicks you on your butt. Later missions have the planes actually grouping against you and steering you away from your target mission (protect this or that)making you get the horrific site of the rarely seen in games "mission failed" screen. the checkpoints are also very genoursly spread out through the game meaning you dont have to start from the beginning of the mission if you happen to fail.
The one complaint i have is that, in order to get any kind of cheat codes you have to call a (900)number to get your codes for cheats and it cost like 2.99 per min. Great, now I gotta pay just to get codes!!! You cant even get them online since I think each disk has a different code list im not too sure but im not gonna find out.
I will definetly be buying this game later on but it is definitely worth a try. Not all people like certain games so try before you buy, thats why you have a gamefly account right...happy hunting.

Having no basis for comparison on Wii (haven't played Blazing Angels yet) I'd still say this was a pretty average arcade flight sim. The graphics looked PS 1, the controls were either unresponsive or too responsive (I got better with time yes, but I felt like they could have been better), and the gameplay was repetitive and not very engaging. The impact cam that was the main platform for the game's ad campaign was cool at first, but later it just gets annoying and really breaks the flow of a good dogfight. Check this game out if you want to blow a few planes up for an hour or two, otherwise skip it.
