Harvest Moon: Save The Homeland takes the successful role-playing series to a new level. With a focus on character relationships and communal duty, players are encouraged to use people skills and life lessons to achieve an honorable goal without violence. You can find nine ways to save your homeland from being developed into a resort. You will employ the help of your neighbors, make new friends, train animals, and motivate your village to work together against the encroachment of greedy developers. The game features a detailed 3-D environment, but retains the original's cartoon look.
