Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for PlayStation 3 Reviews by Gamers

Let me first say that I enjoyed playing this game. The graphics are well done, but the characters are difficult to distinguish at a distance. Additionally, there are a couple of moments of animation hiccups.
The sound is good and voice acting is well done. Of course, the Harry Potter theme is a must.
The game play seems to be the make or break point for a lot of games now. Unfortunately, this game breaks on the game play. The good: The mechanics of spells is innovative whether by analog stick or SIXAXIS. The system to get around Hogwarts is a good idea to prevent players from having to wander aimlessly.
The bad: The 'quests' consist mainly of fetching items for characters with an occasional wizard duel.
This is a great game to rent, but I would avoid ownership unless you happen to be a die hard of the series.

I got this game because I am a fan of the Harry Potter books and Movies! This was also my 1st Harry Potter game! I found the game play and the Graphics where awesome! The fact you get to explore Hogwarts was a Plus! Only thing I would say bad about this game was the game play or Story was way to Short! But then again I understand that they market to younger kids!! :)
