While it is true that you can roam the castle, that comes at the expense of not being able to enter many rooms, or have much to do. The entire game can be finished in a few hours with little to keep you entertained. There are 3 events, repeated indefinitely: point your wii pointer in green circles (quidditch), play Cooking Mama, and wag the wiimote up and down rapidly to win any duel (despite having other spells you could use). I think I wouldn't be as down on this game had I not played the previous one, had the maker had a full year extension to improve and deepen the play, and had my hopes not been high. It is a let down. However, it is a let down that proves the value of Gamefly...don't ever buy what you can rent and return!
