It really is kind of hard to judge the game based on I played Sorcerer's Stone first, but this game was actually released before it..
Anyways, the game graphically of course isn't amazing but it isn't too bad fora 2002 game. I felt like it could have been much much better but overall it was ok. The gameplay itself feels much like Zelda, with the classes that you go through to get new spells. The controller's face buttons act as your spells, which makes it very easy to cast various multiple spells quickly.
The game goes very briefly over the main Harry Potter story so if your looking for a game that very quickly follows the story you won't find it here. I understand that the PS2 version is easier and contains less content than the other versions so I would try to get the Xbox or Gamecube version first.
Overall its a pretty decent game, it will only take you about 10 hours to beat from start to finish plus you can collect all of the 101 Wizard cards if you really want to.
