College buddies Harold (John Cho) and Kumar (Kal Penn) are hungry. They decide there's only one thing that'll hit the spot: a huge order of "sliders," the notorious mini-burgers found only at White Castle! They drive to get their fix, only to find another fast-food joint has taken over the spot where White Castle used to be. Vowing to stop at nothing until they reach the burger mecca, the two begin an all-night trek through New Jersey. One thing after another starts going wrong, and the two find themselves having to overcome one ridiculous obstacle after another. Their wacky adventure wanders around the roads of Jersey and into a small-time jail, a Princeton women's room, an encounter with Doogie Howser, and beyond.
