I rented this game for my 5 year old daughter to play, and found it to be a good educational tool, teaching hand - eye coordination, it piqued her interest in rhythm and music, and also helped with counting.
The game doesn't insult you when a task isn't completed, it gives you an opportunity to try again.
My wife, myself, and my daughter have spent hours playing this game, and I had to purchase it. I usually enjoy sport games, and more adult themed games like the sopranos game, and the GTA series; but I have enjoyed playing this game, even when my daughter wasn't around.
If you have seen the movie, rent the game. Its fun for everyone!
