All I can say is wow. Being a fan of (more of a "slave to") the Halo series, I was skeptical of Halo 4 at first only because of 343 industries, As I'm sure any Elder Scroll fan would be skeptical of an Elder scroll console game created by someone other than Bethesda Softworks. Anyway 343 not only kept the Halo torch burning but, in my opinion, added rocket fuel to it.
This time around the John 117 not only tries to save the human race from yet another diabolical unforeseen threat, but his life-long friend Cortana from "rampancy"
The multi-player was also another step in the right direction with constantly updating missions and new Spartan IV's.
in conclusion, very very very well made game and I wholeheartedly recommend it for any halo fan.
P.S. If you are up to the challenge, beat the game on Legendary for a surprise during the end cinematic.

I own this game and I must say it does have its Pros and its COns.
Pros: This game is amazing with the enhanced detail, sound, knew enemies, and storyline. Although you are not on another Halo ring, the you still get pretty into the storyline. The online is also pretty fun and the spartan ops is great to play with your friends. The Forge is faster and better than ever too. With the magnets feature you can lock walls, doors etc. way easier and they added a couple knew scenery features and others (like turrents that work on there own.)
COns: These still bug me to this day and I have had Halo 4 for a while now. First of all, the ending to Halo 4, I won't actually tell you it, is a little confusing and that kind of dissappointed me. Second, the custom games are kind of a drag. The "infection" gametype, now called flood, can't be changed around a whole lot like in Halo 3 / Halo Reach (Which sucks for me because when I played Halo 3 / Halo Reach, thats all I did was make infection maps and play infection and I had a blast but now...). You will have to try out the other gametypes to try to make the game work.
