Sadly it's mostly more of the same, enjoyable in the same way every generic shooter is. AI has been improved a bit, newer shinier guns were added, and a fairly vibrant story tacked on, but behind the shiny new paint it's still the same old engine, if all you want is to spam bullets downrange in multiplayer or to "pwn some n00bz" then it's fine, if you were hoping for something new or looking for innovation look elsewhere because you wont find it here.
