More of the same stuff

Halo 4 has great graphics and a decent story, however the two things that bothered me the most about this game was #1:I found it to be a bit too difficult on Normal. And #2:The levels were just too frickin long. I put the difficulty on the easy setting which I normally don't like to do but as I said, it was too difficult (for me) on normal setting. I was breezing through the levels and having FUN (isn't that the point of games?) until the second half of the very last mission. The last mission even on easy seemed merciless as waves of enemies kept coming at me as I tried to take cover to let my shield replenish (which takes way too long) and I kept getting my butt kicked. I was stuck with two weapons, one with only 5 rounds of ammo, and I could only find one weapon stash which had stupid pistols. I ended up getting angry and giving up on the game because I was about to throw my controller through the TV. I do not consider myself to be an expert player but I have played and beaten hundreds of games over the last 2 decades of my gaming hobby. But this game was just too hard on the last mission. Aren't games supposed to be fun and not a stress inducing experience? My 2nd complaint is that the levels were just too long. While trying to fight off the enemies in the last mission and running out of ammo, the level lay out has you go through one portal, then another, then another, then another....and yes then another. I was probably very close to the end when I gave up, and I don't like to give up...but I had had enough of the game and at that point it wasn't even fun anymore. Earlier in the game I had a blast with the Jungle level and the level with the HUGE "Mammoth" truck. The game does have it's sweet moments, I just felt that the end was dragged out way too long. A great game for about 75% of it. I hadn't even tried the multiplayer, just the main campaign so I can't rate the multiplayer. But I would rent this only if you are a true fan of the first 3 games.
