This is the fourth disc of the Project .hack// Series released by Bandai. The Climax of the series for PS2 and another stepping stone in the Series timeline. The User's final battle with the 'Cursed Wave' begins here with some of the most shocking events in the game thus far, The player will be hard pressed to keep up with the exorbitant number of Virus Cores required for 'Gate Hacking'. The Final Showdown is at hand, gather all of your resources and prepare for a fight for your life as you do battle with time itself and vanquish the last of the 8 phases of Morganna.

New allies are waiting in this game; Helba, Tsukasa, and even Subaru and Sora join you in this installment, Orca Returns as well. All and all this game amazed me for a finale of a 4 game serial, I felt myself on edge of the story the entire time. Leveling became a pain right at the very end, but the bosses ofcourse didnt let my lack of experience get in the way of pounding my parties into the floor. This game's fights get really hairy, especially with the final Cubia fight so early on. i gave this game a 10/10 because im biased towards this series, and have been playing it since day one.

Welcome to the World... again and for the last time. Disc 4 of 4 and its still no real improvement. Chances are if you are playing this you just want to finish the story... and good for you!

Good- Very strong and interesting story still, great for those who have read the manga/ watched the anime. Most all the characters carry over to this disc with same stats if you loaded the previous flagged save (you will see why I say most if you have played it). Control is still same and if you missed something from the previous disc(s) you can still acquire it usually (some quests/items do not appear from disc to disc).

Bad- Same troubles as the previous editions... monotonous dungeons and somewhat dry dialog. Unfortunately if you have played this far you are starting to see a trend... and possibly a marketing scam! If you havent figured out the marketing ploy... you probably have purchased all of those "make money now from home" books and CDs.

Ugly- Same basic scripting problems but hey... you made it this far, why would you care.

Last one! You did it, and only $80 or a few months worth of work. Again I say... They really could have cut about 30 hours out of this WHOLE mess and plastered it on to two discs.

I recommend watching the 'luminalites' DVDs that go along with the games... its adds some flavor on the side to the story.

well i haven't exactly beaten this game yet even if i've gone through all other 3. Let me tell you right now it is HARD! At one point in the game you need like 20 virus cores from multiple places. I have had this game for months and decided for now to stop playing and will continue to play it during summer. I advise you to write down all cheat places and virus cores you will need. But, this game is still fun because of all the fights with bosses and cubia. I personally like the game a lot except for the whole virus core part. The only reason i want to beat it is to see what happens to our dear friend Orca. If anyone else beats this game write your own review and help me and others out on how to make it easier. So all of you play the game.

Sincerely,
Jake
