Welcome to the World... again. Disc 3 of 4 and its still no real improvements.
Good- Very strong and interesting story still, great for those who have read the manga/ watched the anime. Most all the characters carry over to this disc with same stats if you loaded the previous flagged save (you will see why I say most if you have played it). Control is still same and if you missed something from the previous disc(s) you can still acquire it usually (some quests/items do not appear from disc to disc).
Bad- Same troubles as the previous editions... monotonous dungeons and somewhat dry dialog. Unfortunately if you have played this far you are starting to see a trend... and possibly a marketing scam! Them buggers at Bandai got slick with this title.
Ugly- Characters still all sound like pubescent 12 y/o but most of the whining has stopped. Tedious level grinding is still a must. Loss of certain... things (not going to get detailed cause it will ruin it for those who are really interested).
Three down... one to go. JEZZ! They really could have cut about 30 hours out of this WHOLE mess and plastered it on to two discs... really.

I went back to this after a long break in playing the first two. I know it's part of a larger game but it just wasn't worth it to me. I like the concept, but the execution is wanting. All the zones look too familiar.
The quests are all well worn territory if you've played the first two. Go to a zone, fight down to the bottom dungeon to get an item, or to data drain a viral boss. The combat wasn't all that interesting, just a lot of downing potions to keep you and your virtual team mates up.
I liked the story when it's there, but it wasn't enough to keep me engaged. I sent back before I finished because I was too bored to continue.
