Lacks in Creativity and Imagination

When an evil mastermind threatens to destroy the Wild West with a bomb of a locomotive, it’s up to four heroes to put a stop to his plan – by shooting every bad guy that gets in their way.
On the surface, Gunslingers might have something working for it; it’s a simple shoot ‘em up game where you play as one of four characters. You go through 12 on rails shooting levels and shoot all the bad guys, and some vehicles, that get in your way. Consecutive hits get more points, and the bigger the opponent, the more points he’s worth.
But the creativity in this game runs out after two levels. Each character has one gun in their arsenal, and there’s no gameplay difference between those four guns (they have 10 shots in a six shooter?).
You shoot mostly with that one gun – except for very rare places where you can shoot a machine gun for a few seconds, set off a small bomb or slow down time.
Other problems include graphics that are lacking, explosions that are underwhelming, the almost non-existent story, characters with no personality whatsoever, and the repeating targets. It will take about 70 minutes to get through the game.
After that, you options are limited – play the same levels over again, try a survival mode (where you try to see how long you last against an army of enemies), or shoot lots of plates and bottles.
Playing with more people won’t help – the bland presentation will take the fun out of going against one to three other players.
This game may entice the 8-12 year old crowd, but it’s rated T for Teen – which means that 8-12 year old crowd isn’t the intended audience for this game.
The intended audience – teens and adults – will likely find Gunslingers a bore, and not worth their time. SKIP IT
