Guitar Hero II for PlayStation 2 Reviews by Gamers

Well compared to Guitar Hero one, this one really isn't a step forward. Its basically Guitar Hero I but with new songs. The song list on this one in my opinion isn't as good as the first game either. I'd recommend getting Guitar Hero I or waiting for the third installment which I've heard is supposed to come out sometime next year.

Guitar Hero II is very fun. Decent songs with OK recording. Not the greatest but it is bearable. What really sucks though is that it is so hard to play without a guitar controller. The controls are the triggers on the ps2 controller. Although this may possibly be the best configuration it is very difficult to play this way. Recommendations... GET A GUITAR!
