The backstage interviews on story mode are pretty cool but besides that it's just like a big downloaded expansion to guitar hero 3. Hammer-ons are a bit different in this one, a bit more difficult. The songs are all decent and you'll definitely find a few favorites. For die hard GH fans that need new songs to conquer, this game is for you. Although, there is no song on here that is even close to the difficulty of GH3, there are some fun ones. You get some new guitars and characters, but besides that the layout is exactly the same. Having played Rock's the 80's, this was exactly what I was expecting. Decent game. Now the wait for GH4 is on.

This game is basically the same as guitar hero III except with a lot of Aerosmith. You will like this game if you like the guitar hero series. Guitar Hero Aerosmith is also a good game to try to get achievements. I played the game for 4-5 hours and already had 480 gamerscore points from this game. I also beat the game in around 2 1/2 to 3 hours of play.
Overall, if you are good at guitar hero and need some gamerscore, this is a good game to rent.
