Grand Theft Auto for Game Boy Adv Reviews by Gamers

I don't understand all of the negativity towards this game. Especially about the graphics. IT'S GAME BOY ADVANCE!!!! I'm surprised they were able to make an open world as big as it is on the GBA.
This game has the third-person, top-down perspective of GTA and GTA2. The game boasts quite a selection of vehicles, ranging from little Mini-Coopers to Monster Trucks and busses. There is a twisting story, with its cartoony, predictable, cheesiness adding to the whole experience.
About the graphics: They are not about realism this time around but instead look very much like you're watching a cartoon. The city feels very alive, with people yelling, fighting, and even stealing each others' vehicles!
The few problems I do have with this game are: The frame rates (They're not unbearable but it sometimes detracts from the OVERALL experience) and the difficulty controlling a car (The car physics aren't the best and it's easy to run into other cars). But other than this, it's a great game, especially since it's really cheap now.

This is a horrible game. Seriously. I don't mind that rockstar decided to go back to the look and feel of the first two grand theft autos. Those are both great games. The problem with this one is that it tries to have some tie ins (storywise) to the newer 3d console titles, and the missions just..arent fun. I loved tearing apart other gangs and killing innocent people in grand theft auto two. I loved sticking this game back in the envelope with Grand Theft Auto advance. If you liked the older GTAs dont be fooled into thinking youll like this too. Instead, go to a software store and pick up either GTA 1, GTA 2, or the GTA London expansion game. All of them are better than this. I would rather eat my own dook than play this game again. In the land of SATAN, im sure a copy will be waiting for me. Until then, im thankful I will have no more time wasted on such a terrible game.
