I really loved the stories incorporated in these two expansions they were fun interesting and managed to capture my attention all the way through. They really did lack something though. It seems like once your done with it you really didn't accomplish a whole lot. The games have their perks i.e, new weapons, new vehicles, and a interconnecting storyline that is awesome but doesn't really blow you away. Grand Theft Auto IV all over again. At the same time you finish playing this game and realize you just paid a good amount for something that really doesn't last all that long. Not enough material to keep you occupied for more than a few hours. The game is too easy and you could easily beat it in six hours of serious game play. All in all Episodes from Liberty City is fun but not THAT fun. Rent it on Gamefly but not a recommended buy.
I played the motorcycle section of the game b/c I'm a biker and a law enforcement officer. The game closely follows H.A's and the Outlaws biker war. Pretty fun game, there wasn't much I didn't enjoy. The missions were fun, racing and gang wars were fun. However, would have been more fun to customize a bike or change the look of the gang club house or clothes on my biker. I accured $50k and wasn't able to do anything but buy weapons, streetwalkers, and strippers. Oh and was the full frontal nude on the guy necessary???? I wish the motorcycle story line was longer. But I enjoyed it. Haven't played the other series, and probably won't I got this one just for the biker game. Enjoy!
