Grand Theft Auto 4? Where's 5?

While I was excited to see an expansion pack for GTA 4, Its definitely showing its age. In the Lost and the Damned the game froze up on me during a mission and I hadn't saved for 2 hours. I had to restart. Really frustrating stuff. I didnt turn on autosave, but still the glitches were really evident. The ballad of G Tony was much better with more interesting story and minigames. One thing I miss in the feeling of anarchy like you got from GTA Vice City and San Andreas. If you bump pedestrians they are not likely to start fights with you. Also, there is no random crime like there is in the previous games. The city felt dead unless you were on a mission. Hopefully GTA 5 will be much better.

out of all the episode is was thrilled with this game, somwhat disipointed, considering that in san-andreas you could fly planes...military jets. besides that each gta had its ups and down

I truly was mesmerized by the amount of work put into Grand Theft Auto 4 by Rockstar. It was an amazing game in its own right but the episodes make it even more enjoyable. Out of the two I enjoyed The Ballad of Gayy Tony much more. The story felt nicely paced and the characters where memorable and entertaining, especially Yusif Amir. Luis is a likeable character along with Niko and Johhny and his place in Niko's story felt right. On the other hand, The Lost and Damned was also very fun. While not as nearly impressive it does tie up loose ends and establishes who Johhny really is. The ability to fire a sawed off shotgun while on a bike was interesting and the grenade launcher was an excellent weapon addition. All in all an easy 10.
