Two Classic Masterpieces

The Gradius series has always been a mainstay of arcade gaming, combining amazing graphics, great music, precise control, and incredible difficulty. Finally two of Konami's greatest games can be played at home for the first time ever (and I don't count the SNES port because it's almost a totally different game.)
Both games come ported excellently. The host a number of options:
Full button configuration,
Wait options (1),
BGM Test (listen to your favorite Gradius tunes,)
Difficulty,
and Lives.
You basically have access to each games dipswitches as though you were an arcade operator!
Both games have some nice additions. Gradius IV comes with a boss rush and unlockable level select, while Gradius III comes with a myriad of unlockable mini-games and modes.
Both titles are arcade perfect and come highly recommended!

(1) These allow you to emulate the arcade experience with original slowdown intact, or take on the challenge of playing without slowdown.

gradius has been a classic since it was released. however the play control is just way to ancient for me to really get into the game. i am so used to the games of today that's it just really didn't keep my attention. its definitely worth playing for anyone who enjoyed the great games of the 80's and early 90's. it is the classic side scrolling shooter and will definitely provide hours of enjoyment.
