The Second Half of Golden Sun

The most important thing you should know about this game is that it isn't a standalone game. This is part two of Golden Sun and was originally intended to be included in that game. However, it was too big for the GBA, hence the split.
Story 8
The story takes a more interesting turn in the second half of the Golden Sun story as you follow Felix, who was working against Issac and your team in the previous half to light the beacons on the four lighthouses. Though his motives are a bit vague at first, they start to make a bit more sense as you get further into the game. Though a couple important aspects of the plot don't seem to fall perfectly into place, the story is a compelling tale of saving the world.
Character 8
The characters are still somewhat nonexistent people without personalities. They are only there to carry out the storyline and don't develop or show any sort of growth. Chances are you won't notice much as they don't try to be something they're not. There's no forced soap opera drama or anything of the sort. The characters are there to carry out the story, nothing more and nothing less.
Gameplay 9
The gameplay is still the old style turn based system, coupled with physical and magical attacks. The stat-boosting Djinni make their return with powerful summons that can make the battles more interesting. You'll learn some new types of Psynergy outside of battle to make dungeon crawling more challenging.
Graphics 10
The graphics are solid for a GBA game. Colorful and pleasant on the eyes, but don't expect it to be anything more than that. This game is closing in on a decade in age.
Sound 10
The music is the basic tunes you're probably accustomed to if you've played a JRPG before. It's pleasant and well composed.
