Tomb Raider For Kids

The action controls for Golden Compass are a lot like that of Tomb Raider; your going to be swinging from poles, running on unbalanced pathways, leaping from spot to spot, but there is so much more including mini-games that aren't particularly exciting and tend to get in the way of the action, but all together the game is pretty good.

Fans of the movie and the book look elsewhere for sense though. The story gets kind of jumbled even with the live action scenes from the film spliced into the game. Its not the same storyline exactly but close enough. Definitely a game that kids and some adults will find challenging. I recommend it.

This is by far, one of the worst games I have ever played. I know it's a kids game, so I wasn't expecting GTA or anything but seriously; This game has graphics that rival a gameboy, textures are horrible, voice overs are different actors, sound is cheap, and I'll just save some room to write and say EVERYTHING is horrible. The worst part of this movie adaptation, is that it ruins the movie entirely. It changes the plot around and adds no depth to the overall story. I was a huge fan of the movie, so this is very disappointing.
