Game Description

The action is truly larger than life in this game where the world is your stomping ground. Godzilla Unleashed puts you inside a fully destructible 3D environment where you'll fight a city-obliterating battle to become king of the monsters. Choose from a lineup of 23 playable characters, including classic favorites from creature features and new characters approved by Toho, the team that first brought Godzilla to life. Your inner monster will rage as you wield the Wiimote, crashing and smashing buildings, destroying skyscrapers, and crushing alien crystal formations. Play through a linear and non-linear storyline, or grapple with up to three others in multiplayer.

Why is it so hard to make games involving giant monsters fighting in recognizable urban landscapes fun? Going all the way back to the NES, Godzilla games are rarely more than a cheap, mediocre cash-in on the Toho license. Kaiju fans will likely get more enjoyment out of watching Godzilla vs. Monster...more

I really liked the gameplay, and rated the game primarily on that. However, the non-game interface seemed really buggy. It was impossible to see how to switch between single and multiple real players, profile switching seemed to have disabled itself after i created Profile 2...not great stuff, but...more
