If you want to take the time to learn how to combine items, farm for equipment upgrades, prepare bullets based on weakness and strategy, you will like this title. For non-Monster Hunter fans you will rate this a 6, possibly 7. For MH fans a 7 to 8.

Now that that's out of the way, let's skip to it:
I've played a handful of other PSP games, and usually their longevity is less than a week. It's not to say that Gods Eater Burst is without it's own fatal flaws, but I think it is one of the best releases I've ever played.
It does not possess a particularly amazing story, but the gameplay is quite good and I believe it is easy enough to get into, especially if you are a fan of the JRPG/Anime style.
While I'm not particularly fond of all the clothing options available, I am sure that you'll find at least 1 outfit that suits you just fine.
I think probably the biggest boons to this game are the understanding of Gun Weapons and the Bullet Editor. Throughout most of the game, if you do not understand them they're pretty useless with the exception of those instances where the enemy puts distance between it and you.
The game could also use some more variety in the Aragami Species, so it's a bit sad that the Pre-Order content featured some new missions and different Aragami.
And the last thing, I swear to god. There's nothing I hate more than wishing there was a freakin' R3 button there to turn the Camera with!
Other than that, I really see nothing wrong with the game and believe it's a very good release. I think the music and customization could have been a bit better, but hopefully D3 will grant us another installment with said improvements in a few years.
