I'm not even a god of war fan.. I'm the guy who has a PS3 collecting dust as I play my Xbox... If your at that point where you wonder why you even have a ps3... take a chance on the god of war series... Get this and the 3rd game and play them all through.. Its got a great story line.. and yes its a hack and slash.. nothing that will make your mind boil...
I played them at easy.. I did it for the pure enjoyment of the gameplay and story line... That was enough for me..
There are some puzzles that would frustrate you if you did not have access to google.. but in todays world... no problem!
I enjoyed them ... I was super hesitant to get something that was recreated for ps3.. but I think they did a great job with these games...

if you have played these games for ps2, you need to try it on ps3. everything is better. and if you havent played either of them yet, definitely get this. you will love the mix of action and puzzle. and maybe the occasional video game booby.
