Man i dont really have to say anything about this game cause those of you who played the last 3 (psp including) already know this game is bigger and of course better this is a must buy or rent but definite must buy for any god of war fan the gameplay is awsome, i dont know how but its the same formula but they some how appear to make it better if it aint broke dont fix it. the scenes are very epic expect gow 2 but way way better and explains every lose end but the ending might be dissappointing because its the final god of war with kratos but what a ride it is hands down whenever you get chance get this game, probably best game of the year ps3 exclusives are getting bigger and bigger.
Story picks up right where it left off with an Epic finish to the series (or is it??) Video is smooth and clear and characters are well represented and layed out in thier fullest (some games tend to get lazy and cut off the development of storylines to save time and release the game sooner than later) I particuliarly liked the fact that the game has evolved into more of a strategy game than a "button masher" you will not achieve a platinum by smashing buttings Titan mode will test your reflexes and combo chaining to thier fullest. You can read all of the awesome things that are in the game by reading the other reviews I will agree with almost everything. The only problems I have had with the game is (before update) controller respose was really slow but this problem was fixed. If you are a non-internet user I recommened that you definately find a way to get hooked up for an update if you experiance wireless lag. (this problem does seem to go away when the controller is plugged in via USB.) The other problem I found was the jumping aspects of the game sometimes the Icarus wings tend to not come out.
God of War 3 definitely lives up to all of it's hype. Great graphics paired with ingenious level design, camera work, animations, gore, scale, and one heck of a story. The game was interesting throughout, it never lingered around puzzles too much for them to get boring or have endless amounts repetitive enemies. All-in-all, it's an amazing game that deserves it's recognition.
