Ok i havent beaten this game yet, but Ive gotten far enough to give me an idea of what to write about it. God of War is to me the greatest series for the PS3. I have never rated any GOW game lower than a 9. Until now. Not to say this game is horrible in any way. GOW: Ascencion is as always like the others, amazing in its 3-D graphics, scenery, colossus villians and combat (most of it anyway). The story is....well.... i really dont pay much attention to it. But the 2 major cons i had about this game was at times when your in combat with 3 or more villians the scenes shoot out from a distance. So your watching yourself (Kratos) from far away. And this obviously can become very difficult when your in combat and Kratos is nothing but a little dot. Another problem I had was that it seem to have more puzzles in this game than the others. And for me that blows! It makes the game drag. It gives me a headache. It gets me angry. And a few of these puzzles were so tough i had to cheat by going on youtube. I never would have been able to solve those. Idk im a button smasher guy i guess. I wanna be rippin heads off instead. But anyway its a good game so far and i cant wait to beat it. Im just hoping for fewer puzzles in future GOW games.

How do they keep making them better and better?

So in a nut shell if you follow the game they keep progressing and this one is the same way. They cleaned up the system with a few new additions to the fighting and its more fluid as well. The story line order gets a little confusing at times but just as solid as the rest.
