i've never been a fan of God of War games and this installment didn't change that. As usual the graphics are amazing, bosses are huge and action is intense. I do not like the fixed camera angles, same reason i don't do the DMC games. The combat is fast and flamboyant but attacks feel weak. I didn't try multiplayer, seems like a silly addition to a game like this. Glad I rented first, if you enjoy the other God of War games you will like this one.

it pains me to only rate this a 7 because god of war is one of my favorite series of games! I have to warn future players about a MAJOR GLITCH towards the end of the game & I couldn't get past it!! I looked at the walk through online & lot's of other people got hung up there as well! I understand you can go online and upload a patch or whatever but the thing is I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO!! they shouldn't release a game yet until it is 100% READY! all in all still pretty decent game but it's sad I never got to finish...

PS2 like!!!

No big difference between this game and the last except in this game you can time warp objects which is pretty cool. When I say PS2 like, I mean the graphics, Santa Monica Studios used so much graphics in the big, big creatures that it almost maxed out they're software abilities as they stated in their videos, also their multi-player game area surely affected that too. Hopefully the PS4 engine can help change that.
