Game Description
With the Empire on the verge of ruin in 103AD, the corrupt and decadent Emperor Arruntius has demolished large parts of Rome to make way for the bloodiest Gladiator games ever to be held. As Invictus Thrax, a well-known champion, you are sent back from Elysium by the Gods to stop Arruntius and restore the glory of the Empire. Master multiple upgradeable weapons, each with its own set of combos and brutal finishing blows. More than 60 bloody death-blow moves and three types of magic will have you unleashing cold steel death on all sides using the games advanced multiple opponent combat system. Win the crowd, and become their hero - if you survive long enough!

Although this game gets a low score from GameFly, I would give it an 8. Why? Because the storyline is even better than God of War! Although GOW was a better all around game, the storyline in Gladiator was much more detailed and intriguing which made up for the sometimes repetitive fighting sequen...more
