If it weren't for the wonderful Bill Murray one-liners, Aykroyd's writing, and the help of the original Ghostbuster's cast I would have turned up my nose.

For instance, if this game had been called "Super Ghost Trappers 2000" it wouldn't be worth playing. That may sound hash, but in all honesty without the talent and well written script this game would be easy to pass up. Being able to "hang out" with well animated versions of the Ghostbusters is one of the best aspects of the game. Even if it seems, at times, that they do all the work for you.

To sum it up: the multiplayer is a novelty for a short while, especially if you have friends that also have the game. The career mode is cinematic and involved. The graphics and animation are tight, but otherwise its just another shooter.

As a long time fan of the Ghostbusters -And I mean since I was in diapers!- I can honestly say that this game did the franchise justice. Sure, there where some things that I would have added to make it a little more immersive. How cool would a create-a-buster mode have been? And maybe a little more dedication to the RPG elements that where thrown in? All in all though, this game is solid. There were moments where I felt like I was a Ghostbuster and, when it comes down to it, what more could you have asked for?

Im gonna keep this short and simple.This game has amazing graphics prolly the best Ive seen.Your gun is real cool and catching the ghost and shooting stuff with it is fun,thats about it.About 3 hours into the game you start to get bored doing nothing but the same thing over and over agian.Very repetitive.No free roam and you dont drive any vehicles.The game is way too short and way too easy.You basically cant even die.Its not challenge at all,it wasnt for me anyway.I definately think the game is worth a try,But the 6 hours of gameplay on it are repetative and nothing grate without the graphics.Check it out but Id rent something else if your looking for a game thats a challenge and will last for more then a day or so.For me this was a let down.
