Devil may Cry + God Of War=Ghost Rider???

Ghost rider is very similar to devil may cry 3 and god of war in MANY aspects. the controls are almost an exact replica of god of wars controls. If youve played god of war, you can master the controls in about 5 seconds. They also copy off of God Of war's grabbing enemies and performing a contect sensitive kill but in Ghost rider you just grab them when they are dazed and thats all, no buttons to push after that. And most enemies all get killed the same other than some of teh bosses which actually have some cool ones. Story is like teh movie so if youve seen teh movie or read teh comics, not much is new here. The combat is what keeps the game going. If ghost rider didnt have such a fun and rewarding combat system thi game would be a 4 or 5 for me. There are no puzzles so most of the time your mashing square and triangel and doing all of the differnt combos. The combat reminds me of devil may cry 3 because of its complexity and all teh differnt moves you can do. Killing enemies give syu orbs whch you use to power up moves (god of war and DMC3)but you can get all your moves and health up and magic in justr about 2 hours of teh game (no joke) and then theer is other useless stuff like "making of ghost rider" and "inerviews" ut who really cares. Then you have the bike levels whicg are very fun on the outdoor levels but the indoor levels are pretty much all teh same and the environents get repetetive. The graphics are liek DMC3. The ghost rider and his bike look great but the same cannot be said for the environments. The environments are almost all 0% interactive otehr than thigs to break and the whole game is just fighting and riding the bike and then killing a boss and getting a power to go back teh way you came and get acess to an area that was blocked of with the power you gained. The whole premise of the game is dull and repetetive and it is nowhere near as good as DMC3 or God of War.
GAMEPLAY:8/10
GRAPHICS:6.7/10
STORY:7/10
DESIGN/CONTROLS:6/10
OVERALL:7/10.

The mechanics to the game play are very similar to God of War, so there is not a whole lot of difficulty on the control scheme. The graphics are very top of line especially the transitioning when you are moving up on the ranks of attacks and the color scheme changes. The storyline is very original using comic book strip to tell the stories.

On the downside, sometimes on some levels the sound to the action scenarios does not play where it is kind of muffled. Even though the control configurations is not hard to adapt to, you kind of see yourself at times doing the same moves. The camera angles are slightly obscure where you might be a fighting an enemy one moment then fighting nothing the next.

Overall, if you like God of War, you would definitely like this game. If you have not yet, definitely check out the movie Ghost Rider either in theaters or later in the year on DVD.
