This Review will mostly be based on the multiplayer which most people seem to be mad about. The multiplayer is really different, they have removed the down but not out system which i dont really mind. Its more of a gnasher fest but honestly hasnt it always been that. You can still use a lancer a retro lancer and hold your if i can do it im pretty sure you can im not very good. Overrun is by far my favorite game it is so much fun even with just two people, alone it can be pretty frustrating. They will eventually bring back the original gears game modes they have already brought back execution which is what most people were mad about. Overall if you want to play a new and fresh brake from the same old same old try this rent it first and if you like it great. By the way if you're just bad at the game be fair and don't rate it a 5 because you cant seem to get a kill.

Good

Same old Gears, but still a good shooter

I'll keep this short and sweet: GoW: Judgment is a good game. However, it felt more like a GoW expansion pack rather than a full-fledged game. The only difference I noticed (in regards to the campaign) is that there is now a star "rank" system after each battle. It scores you based on # of kills, gib shots, ribbons, how many times you had to be revived, etc. You also earn in game achievements based on criteria like # of executions, number of doors opened, grenades, etc. Once you beat Judgment (or earn 50 stars) you unlock Aftermath, which is a short 3-hour campaign that is a sidestory to an event that happened in GoW 3.

There you have it. It's a good, functional Gears game. However, I would have been rather disappointed if I paid $60 for it as there just wasn't enough content for my tastes.
