Gears of War 2 for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

I am NOT going to have a neutral attitude towards this game until the end of the review, I'll start be saying that this game IS FLIPPIN SWEET AND TOTALLY AMAZING!

Story- still not to deep but narrated better. A few plot twists are here and there. what's new is that Dom (a member of Delta squad) is looking for his lost wife (and possibly kids) Like I said before, the game's basic plot is that but a LOT more happens.
good for a shooter: 9/10

Design: A third person shooter with the best done cover system ever. During the game you'll pick up new weapons (which are all good, even the most boring gun- the boltok pistol), which are great, as you go along and you'll take cover and fire... then repeat- there are a few vehicular sections and sections where you have to dodge obstacles (turrets, a giant worm's intestines etc.). Not much more to say here.... the multiplayer modes are great! I love Horde, Submission, and Guardian. Mostly shooting in this though. Level disign in and out of mult. player is very well done.

Features: Great muliplayer modes with up to 2 on split screen (w/ bots) and up to 10 online. not so many, but enough good maps. Weapons are amazing and the use of bots makes it fun for those without xbox live (like me...). Campaign can be played alone or with a friend on or off line. Horde is a great new mode! I am half through the game and an experienced shooter player, Im playing it on HARDCORE dificulty (I played gears 1, and beat it on insane ), and it has lasted me around 3:45 hours or 4 hours, which means around an 8 hour campaign for those who are good shooter players like me... the game DEFINITELY has replayability, so you'll probably play it over 1-3 times again

Gameplay: Amazing- insane action great cover system, controls are perfectly done.. thats it!

Presentation: looks amazing, environment is great, blood is INSANE! I am running out of spaces to use so... 10/10
