Short, but sweet.

Before you jump the gun, and shoot this game down because of it's utter shortness, well, its because, thats whats so good about it.
Gameplay 8/10
I've always loved the hack-and-slash games, and this one look beautiful, and the way you play this games is awesome. Combos, spells, and seeming endless enemies.
Graphics 8/10
This game is, by far, has the best looking graphics of this type. The bosses are good looking, and the endelss hoards of enemies are all designed well. The best part, is the weapons and armor you obtain. Just down right beautiful.
Sound 5/10
I... really didn't notice anything wrong with the sound. Everything seemed reasonable, except that when your at mid-health, the announcer tells you that you "need food... badly.", and that got a little annoying.
Multiplayer 10/10
I didn't go online, but I assume it is the same as the same-screen multiplayer, where four people stand together against the endless stream of monsters. This makes an awesome party game, because everyone can play.
Replay value 6/10
I seemed to play through it on every difficulty a few times. But, once you level up all four races, and buy all the moves... there is really nothing left to do.
Overall 7/10
This is a fine addition to the Gauntlet series, but it has its pros and cons. If your looking for a much better game (minus the graphics, but who says graphics makes the game?), check out Gauntlet: Dark Legacy.
