Honestly, I was expecting so much more out of this game. I've never watched GoT but my brother talks about it all the time and absolutely loves the series, we got into the game and of course (him being in his 30s, has gotten to the point of poor eyesight) and he can't read, thus I have been having to sit in the room with him reading it. When we got to the fighting scenes, he sat there once again having me figure it out for him because the text is so small to read that he couldn't figure out what it said. Both of us agree that the fighting play is very poor, as are the graphics. These graphics should have been on par with Skyrim, as should have the combat system. Its completely and utterly under-rated compared to how we expected it to be. We were hoping for it to be a game that blew even Skyrim off the wall with its game of the year rating, and instead this game is definitely going to go down the drain and history most likely in my P.O.V. I've played a lot of bad games, and this one by far even only playing about 30 minutes into it, tops all of those in horridness.
As a huge fan of the source material (both the show and the books) I was really looking forward to this one. However the execution is so poor that the game is unplayable.
The graphics are dated to about 5-6 years ago with blocky textures, low detail and rigid animations. The battle system is similar to Dragon Age: Origins except more basic, boring and repetitive. All in all a huge disappointment and I couldn't even play it for more than an hour.
Stay far, far away as only the truest, hardcore, masochistic fans will see the end of this game.
