Unlike the other reviews, I actually love this game.
It's just fun, the voice acting is really good, and the story is similar to the first book with Jon Arryn's death. I'm half-way through the game and can't get enough of it.
Don't be discouraged by the low rating. If ya want to play this, you may be like me and end up liking it enough to even want to buy it. Yes, I agree, it's graphics aren't "shock ya eyelids", they're decent, however I appreciate them nonetheless.
This game is a little difficult, but once you learn the combat system... which obviously takes "X" amount of time, more for some, less for others. Its a fun game. I have had fun running side quests to help a brothel's highest earning wench, get all the money she was owed by a well off patron who never paid for her services... hahaha it was funny you can do alot with the conversation/story in this game you Play as a Lord in their Caste system, which means you can manipulate MANY of them. Gaining allies which are sent to the Wall to join the Black when you are playing as "Mors" There are 2 main characters Mors, and Alester Sarwyck and you get to choose from I think 6 different sub class professions. I chose Water Dancer for Alester. I have not watched the show, to speak of how well it coincides with it, but the game is interesting and fun to me.

As I said in my title the potential is there but there are areas that are lacking.
Let's start with the good stuff, the story is amazing, for GRRM fans it's a great story with a good bit of detail on the land of Westeros and the characters there in. It stayed very true to the theme and feel of the novels. The side quests are full of bits of lore that do not drag you away from the min story but add to it.
The biggest problem I had with the game was the combat. The controls are clunky and the shift into a combat wheel takes away from the immersive quality of the over all story. When you have to control 3 different characters the mechanics lend no way of setting one character to do a specific thing like auto attack. You also can not set a team member to heal at certain percentage of health.
Other than the minor frustration with the combat system the game is over all very enjoyable.
