Gallop Racer 06, otherwise known as Gallop Racer 8: Live Horse Racing, takes the high-stakes horse-racing franchise to it's most realistic level yet. It has the series' first-ever in-race voice commentary. In multiple modes of play, you'll experience everything horse racing has to offer, from selecting and breeding colts, to thrill of the race, to the wild and crazy world of the wager window. The game's story mode takes the form of Theme Park Mode, where you can develop an entire stable of stallions. Race the horse you've created against real-life challengers in Field of Legend Mode, and relive 150 classic races in Memorial Quest and Hall of Fame Modes. Giddy-up!

The Gallop Racer series has really gone downhill, They have killed the seasonal Stable mode which made the game fun to play has been replaced by some one horse amusement park which doesn't track stats, the game has gone from good to near useless.
