This rally racer is set in 19 different circuits which traverse Africa. Courses include dense forests, barren deserts, and city environments equipped with appropriate backgrounds and obstacles. Players can compete in individual races or in Championship Mode, which consists of a series of races through 18 African countries. As racers progress through the levels, new features unlock, including options to choose more powerful vehicles. The soundtrack is an innovative combination of traditional African sounds and modern dance beats which blends well with the beautifully rendered terrain. Global Touring Challenge also features approved licenses of real autos as well as detailed sunlight, shade, heat, and reflection effects.
