Force Feedback missing on some wheels

I'm a big fan of codemasters, and used to have the touring car game for my PC. So I was excited to play this.
I have a Fanatec wheel, which fully enhances my driving experience. But there was not force feedback with this wheel.
The game played OK, but the feeling wasn't there, so I didn't stick with it.
I figure the game was too old for my wheel, other wheels do work, and mine did too, withtout the force feedback.
