GRID for Xbox 360 Reviews by Gamers

This is a great racing game. I nearly gave up on racing games after playing Forza for months and getting bored of taking corners at realistic speeds and feeling like a turtle throughout the race. What those guys don't seem to understand is that racing games aren't supposed to be perfectly realistic. Shocker, I know. Somehow going 40 mph around a corner in a video game doesn't provide the same thrill as doing so in real life. That's what Grid got right. Speed seems to be highly enhanced in this game making corners fun and heart racing. This game got it right. In order to make a racing game more indicative of a real racing experience, everything needs to be enhanced. After all, racing is about the adrenaline and the excitement at its core. At least in my opinion. If getting that realistic "slow as a slug" line through a corner is what you find entertaining in a racing game, then this may not be the game for you, but if you like taking corners at high speed and battling it out with aggressive competition then you will have fun with this. I've been playing this game for 2 years now and continue to come back to it over and over again for great graphics, good driving dynamics and an adrenaline pumping experience. The list of other race games I have is long and none of them have given me that same experience.

I love this game. I'm a huge racing fan and ive played most of the need for speed games but none are as good as this yet. The graphics are amazing!, the cities are authentic, and the cars are beautiful and each has their own style. The career mode is very entertaining and long so this will take some time to complete. For the achievment guys there are a lot of them and most are easy to get. I never got bored with this game. Cars handle well and are realistic. This is not a racing simulation so you can get away with some sweet drifts. Also another sweet feature is the rewind setting, which saved my butt many times. You almost WANT to crash your car because the damage is so good looking. I played this game and beat every race on the default setting with no trouble at all so anyone can play GRID. Most definatly pick this game up or rent it, you will not be dissapointed!
