Think about this concept. Secret-agent guinea pigs taken into espionage fighting a billionaire and his army of household appliances. Sounds like a great premise for an action game, right?
Well, for the most part, yeah. And here the premise is blown up with G-Force, based on the movie of the same name.
As the film starts gobbling up money, turn on the DS and play as Agent Darwin, Agent Mooch and the gang. You will need to take turns as each. You fight a lot of enemies with electric whips, kick open doors, hack into computer systems, jump from pole to pole, use jetpacks, etc., but the game isn't too violent for the target audience since there's nothing bloody or extreme.
As Mooch, you fly around and grab things, and instead of attacking, you send out radioactive signals to objects from your eyes disabling them, like a security camera. Then, you can switch back to Darwin and kick open the door.
The game's unoriginal, since many similar actions have been used in other movie-based games, but good graphics and some occasionally fun tasks, and multiplayer Wi-Fi save the day a bit.
G-Force is nothing special but worth a try for those who like the movie. RENT IT.
