I played a few missions and got bored. You spend most of the time riding around in a jeep or a tank from point to point. The points are actually areas that you have to capture to move to the next part of the maps. I just didn't find it all that interesting. It just isn't for me.

This game was okay. I am glad I rented it but the graphics tended to be choppy in places.

: : OVERVIEW : : : : : :
Games like Frontlines is essentially the whole reason I joined GameFly; it was a title that I knew I didn't want to BUY, but something I'd still like to play all the same. Let's break it down...

: : PROS : : : : : :
- Battletech like the drones are great to use
- A unique look at a new potential world conflict
- Weapons are neat, and ammo is generally plentiful
- Battlefields are big, so there's room to maneuver

: : CONS : : : : : :
- Graphics aren't very good, but not unbearable
- Tanks and armored drones are movement-challenged
- Your allies tend to be pretty dumb and pacifistic
- I love marksman weapons, and the sniper rifle in this game is junk
- You can't pick up enemy weapons

: : FINAL WORD : : : : : :
A pretty average game, but one I was still glad I played in the end. Definitely not G.o.t.Y. material, but it was pretty fun to play all the same. Like I said earlier, games like this are why GameFly rocks. I'd call it a 'RENT'.
