I play FPS games as a second choice, so I'm not as skilled with them as I am in, say, Elder Scrolls or Two Worlds. I played through this entire game on normal in 8 hours. Perhaps a good introduction to FPS's (definite step up for Castle Wolfenstein), and playing with the different drones is fun, but overall not as advertised. Non-linear play is virtually non-existent. Rent it, play it and make up your own mind. Graphics are cool and gameplay is simplistic yet challenging at the higher levels.
Before renting the game I played the demo of the game on xbox live. As I do with most of the games that I play.
While the game is fun. I did notice a few things that were a little odd. Like when you drive a tank. One can get hung up on a little old sign. Not a very strong tank if it can be hung up on a sign. Also can't go over cars, but it is able to crush concrete barriers. But only certain ones.
The game has an alright story line. I mean as far as FPS go. It is a fun game to an extent. But its weird how you are unable to pick up enemy weapons once they are dropped. Unless of course you have the same gun then in which case on a rare occasion you can receive the ammo from the gun.
If your looking for mindless shooting game. Then this is your prize. If you are looking for something a little more challenging look else where.
